Wesley is so thankful for the great local churches that support us!  There are lots to visit and/or join.  Here are a few you should check out...

Christ UMC
CUMC has two “NewSong” services on Sunday Mornings.  The NewSong services are at 9:15 & 10:40a.m located in the Christ Center Gym.  These contemporary praise & worship style services feature a live band.  If you prefer high-energy, praise and worship music led by an on-stage band with technology driven worship elements, you may enjoy our NewSong contemporary worship service.

Sunday Evening Worship is located in the Christ Center Gym.  It is an intimate acoustic-led worship time with teaching by Jeremy Steele.  This service is a 5pm.  We recognize that Sunday morning is not always the best time for people to attend church, especially those who did not grow up waking up early on the day after Saturday. This service seeks to reach outside of the typical church box in both topics and time.

Dauphin Way UMC
Dauphin Way United Methodist Church has three Sunday Morning Worship Services...  “The Festival Service” is at 10:30am.  It is a traditional worship experience led by Dr. Jeff Wilson and Rev. Robin Wilson located in the Sanctuary.  The  “First Day Service” is a smaller teaching service at 8:20am in Adkins Chapel.  Contemporary Worship Service is an upbeat, praise and worship service led by Rev. Brad Goode - for those looking for a more relaxed and informal style of worship. It is at 10:30am in McGowin Hall.

Forest Hill UMC
Forest Hill UMC is only about 3 miles from USA's campus at 4807 Princeton Drive, at the corner of Forest Hill Drive, just north of Langan Municipal Park.  We have started a new contemporary worship service on Sunday mornings at 8:45 in the chapel at Forest Hill UMC. It is a casual service, and we provide coffee and refreshments each Sunday. We welcome college students! Our pastor is Joe Moore and interim worship leader is Jimmy Hammond.  This fall we have a new multi-age Sunday School class at 9:45am focusing on "Not Your Sunday School Jesus."  This is not the usual look at a modern, Americanized, Protestant Christian Jesus, but the first century Jewish Messiah who is also the Eternal One.  Within the process, we are also gaining valuable tools for understanding and doing Bible Study.  Class teacher is Dottie Rogers.  Traditional Worship is at 11am.

Government Street UMC
Government Street United Methodist Church – Affectionately known as “The Bee Hive”, is located in the heart of Mobile at the intersection of Government Street and Broad Street.  A small, inter-generational congregation, we are eager to roll up our sleeves to do the work of God’s Kingdom through various community focused mission efforts.  Past examples include – serving meals with McKemie Place and Family Promise; hosting out of town mission teams; a community garden initiative that has spawned 5 separate sites; youth outreach through Sea Scouting and Boy Scout Troop 122.  Spiritual Growth Opportunities include an adult Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and a Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday’s from 5:45 until 7:00 p.m.  Our praise team meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.  Why not lend your voice or instrumental talent to the mix?  Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 a.m.  The atmosphere is casual.  There is no “dress code”.  Music spans the wide spectrum from favorite hymns to sacred choral music to more contemporary praise and worship.  We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday.  If you are looking for a place where your presence will make a difference come experience The Bee Hive.  We’ll be eager to greet you!  To learn more, contact Rob Gulledge , rob@thebeehive.us, or by cell phone, 423-7835.

Kingswood UMC
Kingswood United Methodist Church is a neighborhood church in west Mobile. We have two morning services, one at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 11:00 a.m. Kingswood is a welcoming church with the desire to make visitors feel at home in a congregation that is known for its community outreach. Like many of today's churches, there is a variety of dress at each service - coat and tie along with more casual dress.  We look forward to USA students visiting Kingswood!

South Brookley UMC
We are not your grandparents' church -- unless we are -- in which case, your grandparents are awesome!  South Brookley loves the Wesley Foundation and its students!  South Brookley UMC has a Sunday evening service usually on the second Sunday of the month called "Soul Cafe".  We meet at 5:30 for Worship and 6:30 for dinner.

South Brookley UMC is not a building (though it does meet in beautiful one!) Nor is it a social club or clique. It is a group of people who are on a lifelong journey together with Jesus. Only one of us in the group is perfect, and that's Him. We still are a bunch of messed-up people, but over time, we're discovering that He is slowly changing us to become more like Him. We don't have all the answers, but we're finding out that when we take the time to get quiet and listen to Him, He does! Most of all, we are people who have discovered that being a Christian is not about repeating a prayer, trying to be good, and pretending you are someone who's got your life together when you really don't. Rather, it is about giving your whole life over to a God who loves you "just the way you are" but who won't just leave you the way you are. We follow a God who is still in the business of changing lives. Life is hard sometimes, but we've discovered great joy in this journey, and we'd love to have you come along and join us!

St.Mark UMC
VIVID is a new service at St. Mark UMC that meets at 9:30am.  VIVID provides space for a new and diverse group of people to worship Jesus. Music, decor, and hospitality will embody that diversity. When people experience VIVID, they will be experiencing the unity and multi-ethnic diversity of the new Jerusalem, where people from all kinds of backgrounds worship Jesus together.

This is not an Exhaustive list of local churches, but these are the ones that asked to be connected to our site.  If your church supports Wesley and it's missing from this list, let us know!   we'd be happy to add you!
